Need advice on what plants are appropriate for your climate? Would you like Kevin to advise your clients about saving water? Kevin Walsh is available for consultation on these and many other issues concerning gardening. His breadth of knowledge is extensive, making him a leader in his field.

Kevin's work experience has been broad and covers most aspects of horticulture at a professional level. He has worked at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne and oversaw the rejuvenation of the historic Malmsbury Botanic Gardens. Kevin has also been responsible for the design of outdoor spaces for commercial, public, and private organizations. He has been commissioned to produce reports for state and local government and has acted as consultant for schools, horticultural enterprises, historic gardens and private individuals.

Kevin has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Science (Horticulture) from Burnley, as well as a Trade Certificate in Horticulture and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in writing. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Horticulture, Horticultural Media Association, Sustainable Gardening Australia, Mediterranean Garden Society, and is an accredited Green Gardener, and instructor for the Green Gardeners Program.

He has over twenty years' experience designing and advising on gardens throughout Victoria and New South Wales. Recognized for his well-rounded knowledge in the field, Kevin answered the Readers' Questions in The Age for ten years. He has written and edited books, and has contributed to various magazines and journals. Kevin can be heard weekly on ABC Regional Radio throughout central, western, and northern Victoria.
